The Deacon Nick Bradley Jr. Memorial Scholarship is designed for high school male scholars who are Greater Fairview members with intentions to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university.  The scholarship rewards a high school male for their academic achievements for the current senior year in high school.

Eligibility  

  1. Overall grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  2. Must be a male high school graduating senior who attends Greater Fairview
  3. Written nomination from a Greater Fairview Church member
  4. A non-recipient of a full scholarship to any college or university

Criteria for Evaluation

  1. Applicant must be a current member of Greater Fairview (attending regularly and actively engaged in a church ministry)
  2. Applicant must participate in an interview with selected interview panel (to be arranged by committee chair/men’s ministry leader)
  3. Applicant must show proof of acceptance into a two-year or four-year college or university

Nomination Materials

  1. Application completed by student and signed by Mighty Men or Young Mighty Men of Valor Director or Assistant Director 
  2. Essay provided by student (500-700 words)
  3. High School transcript
  4. Nomination form and nomination letter
